Job Description
This opportunity involves driving to properties to verify occupancy and to report on the general condition of homes for the mortgage industry. The average time spent on an inspection is 3-5 minutes per property. Typical inspections require 6-8 photos. All work is completed out of your home office and vehicle by using phone app-based software to upload photos to our database. You work on your own schedule & are only required to get your inspections in on time.
Requirements:
Smart phone or digital camera required.
This job involves lots of driving so a reliable and fuel efficient auto is needed.
Strong mapping and directional skills
Computer/Printer and internet connection
Independently motivated
Good time management skills
Pay-per-inspection equates to about $12 to 15+ per hour. Population density changes rates per inspection. $4 for city to up to $15 for rural.
When working:
City inspectors typically average 5-7 inspections per hour.
Suburban inspectors typically average 3-5 inspections per hour.
Rural inspectors typically average 1-4 inspections per hour.
