TWIC card required. 3 year clean driving history required.
This is a part time position at Logistec on Newcastle Street in Brunswick. Hours are Saturday and Sunday Officers are paid 10 per hour. Physical Requirements: * Must be able to stand, walk or climb stairs up to 8 hours in all weather conditions* Vertical climb of 30 feet* Traverse catwalk 30 feet in the air* Patrol employee parking lot* Direct traffic to and from loading docks* Strong night vision* Conduct truck checks and inspections approximately 20 yards from the guard shack. Provide instructions to truck driver in the truck cab; approximately 6 feet off the ground. * Able to work dispatch communication devices* Maintain written report of daily activity on Daily Activity Report throughout shift* Assist emergency Response personnel during an emergency as directed. Emergency response includes being able to stand for long periods of time during emergencies; to handle a 20 pound fire extinguisher; and to stop and/or direct traffic for prolonged periods of time. Work Environment includes:* Uneven surfaces, including gravel; some areas poorly lit* Exposure to truck fumes, hazardous materials and particulates (PPE provided and required)* Dock guard shack does not have bathroom facilities; facilities are in the main building
